Description

Silicone rope is quite different from other types of rubber from a chemical point of view. Silicone cord can work in conditions where other rubbers could not because of its better tensile, compression and breaking strength than regular rubber which is the main difference between the silicone cord and NBR rubber rope. Silicone cord has excellent resistance to solvents, UV rays, weathering, water, ozone and aging. The round silicone cord has very good characteristics in terms of its working temperature, withstanding temperatures from (-60) °C to +230 °C giving it great capabilities in a variety of conditions. The silicone rope has excellent electrical insulation properties. Solid silicone rope is suitable for the food and beverage industries.
