Description
Presspahn (Press paper) is a mixture of textile and cellulose fibers used for insulation purposes. Also called electrical insulating paperboard or pressphan, its component is unbleached sulfated cellulose. Presspahn has very good physical properties. Press paper is resistant to climatic conditions and is oil-resistant and heat-resistant. Pressphan is resistant to high voltage and a high capacity for impregnation with transformer oil.
