Description
Glass banding tape is woven from glass filament tape with a working temperature of up to 550°C, making it a universal insulation in a wide range of industries. The glass tape has excellent thermal insulation properties and is an ideal replacement for the asbestos tapes used in the past. Glass braided tape is extremely easy to process and does not unravel after cutting. The banding tape has excellent thermal characteristics and low thermal conductivity. Glass tape is a good insulator and has excellent flexibility and tensile strength. Fiberglass banding tape has greater heat resistance compared to cotton banding tape, but doesn’t have the shrinkable properties of the polyester banding tape.
