Description
Expanded Teflon (PTFE) tape with self-adhesive strip is manufactured from 100% pure expanded Teflon. The production process of this PTFE tape gives it high mechanical strength, and as a result of the expansion process, the pure Teflon tape acquires new specific physical properties for ease of use such as softness, flexibility and flattenability. PTFE band can be easily adapted, even in the most complex of shapes, and is a safe and harmless material, easy to store and install. Teflon band has high durability and resistance to aging, resistance to most acids, salts, bases, oxidizers, solvents, petroleum products and fuels. Expanded PTFE tape has a wide operating temperature range, vacuum and high-pressure resistance. PTFE expanded tape is not affected by UV and IR rays and is safe in contact with food products. For ease of installation, there is a single-sided adhesive strip with a protective layer of special paper, which is removed before installation, and the tape of expanded Teflon guarantees sealing even the most uneven of surfaces.
