Description
Epoxy fiberglass laminated rod is a layered material obtained by winding layers of glass fabric of alkali-free glass (with a continuous thread), impregnated with thermosetting resins on a phenolic or epoxy basis. Also called epoxy glass rod, the epoxy fiberglass rods have excellent electrical insulation and mechanical properties. Epoxy fiberglass laminated rod is non-toxic, non-explosive and non-flammable. Due to the glass fabric, epoxy rods have a higher modulus of elasticity, strength and wear resistance compared to materials such as phenolic cotton cloth laminated rod and some technical plastics.
