Description
Diamond dotted paper (DDP) or Diamond pattern paper (DPP) is a flexible material made of sulfated cellulose paper. This type of electrical insulating presspaper differs from ordinary presspahn in that it is coated on one side with heat-resistant epoxy resin. DDP is a good insulator and has heat resistance class A (105° C). DPP paper has very good physical properties. The dots of the diamond dotted paper are applied in such a way that sufficient spaces exist between them for oil impregnation.
Areas of application
- Electrical insulation products
- Electrical insulation systems
- Transformers
