Description
Acid-resistant rubber (CR rubber sheet) is based on a mixture of synthetic isoprene and butadiene rubber. CR rubber sheet has a high resistance to mineral acids, alkaline elements and acid solutions. Unlike other technical rubbers, acid-resistant rubber sheet has excellent tensile strength and flexibility, excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation and sunlight, making it suitable for use in outdoor conditions. CR rubber sheet is not recommended for use with oils, for which NBR rubber sheet is recommended. Petroleum products dissolve the CR rubber and for these applications it is recommended to use Fuel-resistant rubber. CR rubber roll has low permeability to gases and air, as well as good mechanical properties. The acid-resistant rubber’s good aging resistance is combined with a good operating temperature window and Shore 75 hardness.
