Description
Cotton graphite packing is produced by knitting cotton fibers and impregnating them with grease and graphite so that the qualities of the threads are preserved. The mineral product with which the pad is impregnated makes it have excellent lubricating qualities that reduce friction and remove heat in the friction zone. The cotton graphite packing can be round or square in cross-section, and it is soft and flexible, making it versatile for use. The cotton packing impregnated with graphite is used in many sectors due to its low price compared to other gland packings. Cotton grease graphite packings are recommended for all reciprocating and rotating service against cold and hot water, brine and cold oil.
