Description

Square ceramic packing is woven from ceramic yarn and glass threads used as a base. The ceramic packing guarantees excellent flexibility and mechanical resistance and can be used during prolonged exposure to significantly higher temperatures than other types of compression and gland packings. The ceramic packing can be round or square in cross-section. The structure of the braid is diagonal or multi-layered. The low coefficient of thermal conductivity of the raw fibers and their textile and hairy structure are a prerequisite for the excellent insulating qualities of the square ceramic packing. Ceramic packings have excellent maximum working temperature of more than 1000 °С.
