Description
Reinforced rubber sheet is a regular SBR technical rubber reinforced with one or two layers of fabric giving the SBR rubber additional strength. SBR rubber is the most affordable of all technical rubbers and finds a wide range of uses, making it the most common type of rubber. SBR rubber with textile has the same heat resistance and aging resistance as plain rubber, but with added reinforcing fabric that makes it more abrasion resistant, stronger and with increased strength properties. The SBR with 1 ply or 2 ply added to the regular rubber sheet keeps it from stretching and adds tear resistance. The rubber is preferred for air, hot water, steam and low-pressure steam applications. The SBR reinforced rubber sheet does not withstand strong acids and oils, unlike the CR rubber.
