Description
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sleeving is produced from tightly braided fiberglass impregnated with dielectric acrylic resin, which allows excellent insulating properties, combined with flexibility and easy installation. Acrylic sleevings provide high electrical insulation (2.5 KV) as well as temperature resistance up to 130 ᵒC (class B). PVC sleeving also provides mechanical and thermal insulation. This durable sleeving will withstand mechanical stress and holds its dielectric strength on all bends. In addition to the difference in impregnation, polyvinyl glass varnish pipes differ from polyurethane PU sleevings and silicone sleevings in the breakdown voltage and maximum temperature they withstand.
