Glass epoxy wedges are used to close slots, in transformer insulation and anywhere where sealing or support is needed. Fiberglass epoxy slot wedges are available in semi-circular shape. Slot insulation wedges from glass epoxy have very high hardness, toughness, durability and excellent temperature resistance. An alternative to glass epoxy wedges are wood slot wedges, which are made from beech wood and bamboo slot wedges.
