Description
Polyurethane (PU or PUR) is a modern polymer material for structural purposes. In terms of its technical properties, this heat-resistant polymer surpasses rubber and rubber materials. As well as offering the resistance of rubber, PU boards add strength and durability, enabling the replacement of plastics and metal. Polyurethane sheets not only offer excellent impact resistance, but also have excellent wear resistance and high tensile strength. It is especially necessary to emphasize the thermal conductivity of the polyurethane PU sheet if we consider it as a thermal insulation product. PUR sheets are resistant to the effects of certain acid components and organic solvents. PU plates are highly resistant to vibration and withstand high pressure levels. Polyurethane boards are resistant to oils and gasoline, as well as petroleum products. PUR boards provide reliable electrical insulation and protect against moisture. PU sheet is way more resistant to vibrations due to its softness and more flexible compared to other technical plastics.
