Polypropylene PP

Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic material with a semi-crystalline structure. Polypropylene has a high resistance to chemicals, salts, acids and bases. It is for this reason that polypropylene are considered an excellent alternative to acid-resistant steel. PP has high degree of stiffness and strength at room temperature, as well as low moisture absorption coefficient. For this reason, polypropylene is a good choice for mechanical and structural applications. PP thermoplastic has higher strength, higher hardness and higher melting point compared to plastics such as Polyethylene (PE).
